Description: Exit Plan is a series of six prints, each based on a different scene from my video A Building Explain Itself. In that piece, I used the spatial and graphic language of a building's interior and the movement of multiple identical figure as a platform to imagine the building's point of view. The red line were inspired by the building's emergency exit diagrams and mark the path of the figures in the video; these lines are isolated in the prints, leaving only a hint of the spaces and movements they originally described but acquiring a movement, dimension, and syntax of their own.
